MOTO RACING PADDOCK SHOW:
THE WORLD OF TWO-WHEELED RACING
AT THE BOLOGNA MOTOR SHOW
The Bologna Motor Show, set to be held from 4 to 8 December 2009, will offer visitors the opportunity to see behind the scenes of international competitions such as the Moto GP and the Superbike. This "Special Edition" of the Bologna extravaganza marks the debut of the Moto Racing Paddock Show, an entirely new initiative sponsored by Doctor Glass and hosted within the expo district pavilion. The aim of the Moto Racing Paddock Show is to allow the teams that take part in motorcycling competitions to come face-to-face with fans of two-wheeled racing.
Pavilion 36 of BolognaFiere will be all about racing: for the first time, visitors will be granted access to the paddock area (which is normally off limits), where the teams get ready to hit the track. The paddock area plays host to the hospitality suites and racing vehicles used by various international teams such as Ducati (Moto GP and Superbike), Team Gresini (Honda Moto GP) and Team LCR (Honda Moto GP).
The Moto Racing Paddock Show will also see the participation of teams that compete in the Supermoto championships, such as Aprilia, HM Honda, Husqvarna, Kawasaki KL, KTM, Suzuki and TM.
Alongside the teams and the racing bikes, the paddock area will also feature works motorbikes with technological characteristics that derive directly from the experience accumulated in the sporting field, as well as leading companies that provide technical support to racing teams, supplying them with components such as suspension systems and tyres.
The Moto Racing Paddock Show will, then, offer visitors a peek into the world of two-wheeled racing. Moreover, Pavilion 36 will also include the CMJ Village, which will make the world of motorbikes all the more fascinating.
